Blake Riley won best newcomer at the GAYVN’s over the weekend. Big congrats to one of our faves.
We love Blake Riley. But, we love RJ too. If Blake and RJ had both been nominated, I think we would have had to abstain from commenting on the category altogether. Or maybe we would have demanded that two of them enter a “Bottom-Off” contest to see who is the best newcomer bottom boy. What would that contest have looked like? Who would win? The answer: The fans would win big time!
Update: Sure we know Blake tops on screen too. But in our fantasies, he’s a bottom. Dude. WTF?! Seriously, what the mother fucking hell? The GAYVN Nominations were released, and there is one glaring omission. RJ Danvers isn’t nominated for best newcomer. Um, I’m thinking the bitchy queens that run that show don’t know what they’re doing. RJ is the hottest, most authentic stud to hit the porn scene in a long time. I can’t believe he didn’t get the nod. Check out RJ’s incredibly humble post regarding the GAYVNs. I don’t know many guys who would be so gracious. Props to RJ.
Migs and I were considering making this the first GAYVN show that the pizza boys attended. Now we may just have to boycott. Maybe we’ll make some signs out of old pizza boxes and picket in front of the award show. Something like: “We Love RJ” and “RJ for President” or some shit like that.
At least Blake Riley made the list for Best Newcomer. Blake was my favorite newcomer bottom-boy until RJ stole the show with his little dildo serenade. If RJ can’t win it, then I definitely throw my support behind Blake.
I was pleased about a couple of the other nominations. It was great to see Jason Ridge nominated for Best Actor and a few other awards. His first film, A Rising Star was also nominated a couple of times. Good for Jason. He’s a hot versatile fuck stud and he deserves the accolades.
I was also glad to see Chaosmen’s Edge Series nominated. That shit was hot as hell and different than anything else on the amateur scene. I was a little disappointed that The Intern wasn’t nominated for Best DVD Extras. That piss scene with Zack Randall and Michael Lucas gets me off often. At least Zack and Jimmy were nominated for their stock room fuck scene in The Intern.
Christian Cruz totally deserves the award for best supporting actor. That bitch is funny as hell. Oh, and he’s an insatiable, talented bottom.
I’m going to have to go with Jason Ridge for performer of the year. He’s everywhere you look, he tops, he bottoms, and he looks like he’s enjoying himself all the time.

Lucas Entertainment has finally released the XXX trailer for Gigolo. While I’m not a huge fan of scripted porn flicks, Lucas seems to pull off what most porn studios can’t… acting. Plus, how can you miss out on new movie with Jason Ridge, Ben Andrews, and Zack Randall??
